Achilles Tendinopathy

Achilles Tendinopathy is an injury of the Achilles tendon which connects the calf muscle to the heel bone. It’s common in runners and middle-aged people who play sports only on the weekends. Heel pain and tenderness are key symptoms.

Symptoms:

-Morning pain

-Pain along the back of the heel when active

-Intermittent swelling

-Pain the day after exercise
