Morton's Neuroma

This is inflammation causing sharp burning pain or numbness in the ball of the foot or in the toes. Nodules surround the nerves especially between the third and fouth toe but can also occur on both sides of the middle toe. Runners and those who wear high heels are most susceptible to this condition.
